Aside from seeing Villa Ukika, one of my goals for visiting the Chilean side of the Beagle Channel was to explore the Yahgan cultural museum in Puerto Williams. So on Tuesday afternoon, I headed over there.

This was another providential aspect of my getting stranded: the museum isn’t open on Mondays, so if my visit to Isla Navarino had gone as planned and I’d only stayed one night, I wouldn’t have been able to see the museum after all. And it was definitely worth the visit.
